The vScan locating receiver was specially developed for simple and cost-effective cable and object locating. The robust housing, 2-button operation, compass direction display and internal 4 GB data memory make it a useful tool for preventing cable damage in harsh field conditions. The vScanM is the only device in its class to also offer a metal detection function. With the optional Bluetooth function, the recorded data can be stored securely and quickly in the free VMMap app and retrieved at any time.
The vScan can be freely configured by the user to suit their needs. As standard, it contains 32.8kHz and 131kHz as active locating frequencies, current 50Hz and radio as passive locating frequencies, as well as the frequencies 32.8kHz, 512Hz and 640Hz for probe locating. The metal detection function of the vScanM can also be used to locate buried manhole covers, valve caps, marker pins, etc. The vibration alarm in conjunction with acoustic and visual warning messages warns the user of shallow cables, signal overload, overhead lines and excessive vibration of the receiver. The device is designed for all user groups. Operation is very simple, so that only brief instruction is required.
