LOCATION TECHNOLOGY

Localization refers to methods used to determine the spatial position of distant objects in relation to the observer. As a rule, a distance measurement is carried out in a certain direction. For this purpose, signals can be emitted, which are transmitted back to the transmitter by reflection from the object to be located. In a broad sense, localization based on received signals is often called a localization. Further examples are the location and inspection of objects within hard-to-reach structures. This refers to corners, cavities, interiors of pipes and pipes that are difficult to see.

Positioning technology refers to the technical devices and systems used for locating: devices for locating and surveying, cable locators, receivers, transmitters, cable detectors, sheath fault  locators, inspection cameras, probe locators, ferromagnetic metal detectors, troubleshooting devices and their accessories
