FLOW METER

A flow meter is a measuring device that measures the volume flow of a liquid or gas flowing through a pipe. It consists of two main components, the actual sensor, which serves as a flow sensor, and an evaluation and power supply part, which is also referred to as a transmitter or transmitter.

The sensor is a technical component that detects certain physical or chemical properties, such as temperature, pressure, sound, acceleration, speed or the material properties of its environment. These quantities are output to readable data.

Flow meters are used in the water and wastewater, chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas, power and steam generation, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, and food and beverage industries, covering a wide range of industry-specific applications.
