Ultrasonic Flowmeter UDM 11

The UDM11 is a clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter designed for non-invasive measurement of flow rate and totalized flow in fully filled water pipelines. Since the sensors are mounted externally on the pipe, no interruption of the piping system is required, making the device particularly suitable for existing installations.

The UDM11 is suitable for applications ranging from temporary measurements for maintenance, testing, and diagnostic purposes to permanent flow monitoring in industrial processes and building services. It is compatible with steel, stainless steel, PVC, and copper pipes with nominal diameters from DN20 to DN80, measuring flow velocities from ±0.03 to ±5.00 m/s with an accuracy of ±2.0% of the measured value.

Commissioning is straightforward: mount the sensors on the pipe, configure the pipe material, pipe diameter, and medium, and start the measurement. Thanks to the clamp-on technology, installation is fast, safe, and requires no modification or interruption of the piping system.

The UDM11 is equipped with Wi-Fi as standard and can optionally be integrated into process control and automation systems via TTL/RS485 (Modbus RTU) and a 4–20 mA analog output. Integrated SD card data logging, together with digital and analog communication interfaces, enables efficient data acquisition, documentation, and continuous process monitoring.

With its IP65 protection rating, backlit LCD display, and rugged design, the UDM11 is suitable for both portable service applications and permanent installation in demanding industrial environments.
