DIPPER  - T

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Electronic module (IP65) - Mode change for static and drop height levels, removable for easy cleaning and maintenance. Circuits and components are potted to protect against ingress of moisture and dust
  • Sensitivity switch - to set false signals from cascading water
  • Connection - To prevent damage to the tape, the probe is sacrificed at the joint when it is stuck in the recess
  • Probe (IP68) - 5/8 "full pressure / depth rated, no holes or pits for contamination, field replaceable for optional housing or depth detector probes
  • Steel strip - high-strength steel, coated with polyethylene, high breaking strength, stretch-resistant and lifelong readable - markings in metric (mm) or technical (1/100 ') scale
  •  Steel band certified / compliant to - ASME B89.1.7-2009 and MIL-STD-45662A certified, FED GGG-T-106F and EEC Class II compliant
  • Padded carry case - protects your precision water level gauge from the elements
  • Hanger - built-in to support the counter at the wellhead allows hands-free application
  • Tape guide - built-in to protect the tape from sharp edges on the shaft housing
  • Vinyl handle - molded to the frame, ergonomic handle
  • Wrap handle - tailor-made for easy winding with gloves

The Heron Dipper-T is known for its high-quality, polyethylene-coated, yellow steel belt, with which the water depth can be measured accurately. Available in metric or technical scales.
The DIPPPER-T water level gauge can be easily converted into a multifunctional device that not only measures static and falling fill levels, but also determines the length of the tubing and the depth of the borehole.
The water level sensor probe can be easily removed from the connection and replaced with either the well housing indicator probe or the well indicator probe. The FOUR FUNCTIONALITY of the DIPPER-T water level meter makes this unit an advantage for groundwater professionals and landowners during the construction of new fountains, the maintenance of fountains or the decommissioning of abandoned fountains.
The static mode is used to measure water depth in fountains, boreholes and stanchions. The DrawDown mode is used to measure falling water levels during purging, fountain development, and low flow sampling.
The well gauge probe is used to measure the depth of metal casings in two inch diameter and upward boreholes. The Well Casing Indicator Probe works with magnetism. While the probe sits in the magnetic field of the steel housing, an audible and visual signal is active. When the probe leaves the magnetic field, the signal stops. Note the condition of the borehole for accurate measurements.
The depth indicator probe (or ground detector) is used to measure the full depth in boreholes. The wellbore depth gauge probe uses a pressure sensitive piston to measure the distance to the bottom of the wellbore. When the fountain depth indicator probe reaches the bottom of the wellbore, the piston enters the probe housing and closes a switch which triggers an audible and visual signal at the top of the wellbore.
To meet all your project requirements, the DIPPER-T is now available:

  • DIPPER-T with borehole and borehole gauge probes
  • DIPPPER-T with depth indicator probe
  • DIPPPER-T with Well Case Indicator Probe
