The CONDUCTIVITY PLUS provides accurate conductivity, water level and temperature measurements in wells, risers and estuaries where saltwater intrusion and contamination levels are a problem. Conductance can be an early indicator of changes in a water system due to variations in salinity in water levels. The premium padded carry case is included to protect your precision instrument.
While this is an excellent tool for early detection of threats to a water system, it is not recommended for the creation of wellbore profiles where saltwater intrusion is a factor. The response time of 1 minute and the calibration of only 1413μS makes it impractical for this application.
The high-tensile steel core tape has been tested for ASME strength and is ideal for profiles up to 50 ° C. An LCD screen displays conductivity values ​​up to 80,000μS and a temperature range of 0˚C to 50˚C. The conductance-temperature compensation coefficient is 2.0%. Calibrating the conductivity plus is easy with the readily available 1413 μS solution.
